May 5th 2023: Optional Healthcare Design Thinking Workshop
Microsoft 155 Water Street Office, Vancouver

Overview

Join us on Friday, May 5th for a special full-day workshop designed in collaboration with the BC Ministry of Health's Health Innovation Hub! This active, hands-on event will introduce participants to design thinking principles and practice, spark your creativity, bring out your inner innovator, and teach new skills and tools to help build effective human-centered solutions to complex healthcare problems. Participants can expect to work through a real problem from identification to a tested prototype, experiencing every phase of design through both solo and group activities - with a focus on fun and innovative collaboration.

All roles and levels of experience are encouraged to join: all you need to bring is your enthusiasm for learning and your passion for building a better healthcare system together.

All proceeds from the May 5th Healthcare Design Thinking Workshop will be donated to help support students in the Health Design Lab program at Emily Carr University of Art & Design who are facing financial barriers to completing their education. Come enjoy a great day of learning and innovation with us while supporting a great cause!
